Mounjaro in Osaka, Kyoto, Fukuoka, Okinawa or Sapporo: Online Consultation and Hotel Delivery
The short version
- You do not need to come to Tokyo. Wherever you are in Japan, you can have the consultation by WhatsApp or LINE and have the medicine delivered to your hotel.
- Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Fukuoka and most other cities: contact us at least 3 days before you want to receive it.
- Okinawa and Hokkaido (Sapporo): at least 14 days before. Delivery takes longer, so it is best to message us before you fly.
- Delivery within Japan is a flat JPY 1,000. We cannot ship outside Japan.
“My trip is only Osaka and Kyoto.” “I am in Fukuoka for three nights — is that enough time?” These are among the questions we are asked most often. The answer is yes, you can — but how far ahead you need to contact us depends heavily on where you will be. This article sets out the process, the lead times and how the parcel reaches you.
The short answer: Tokyo is not required
Our clinic is in Ichigaya, Tokyo, but an online prescription does not involve a visit. As long as you are physically in Japan, the questionnaire and the doctor’s consultation are done by WhatsApp or LINE, and we deliver to an address in Japan that you choose — a hotel, a rental or a home address.
Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Sapporo, Okinawa: the process is the same everywhere. The one thing that changes is how long delivery takes.
Who this article is for
This is written for people who are already travelling or living in Japan, or who have a trip to Japan booked. Tirzepatide is prescribed in many of our readers’ home countries, and if it is available where you live, a doctor at home who can follow you over time is the normal route. We do not suggest travelling to Japan in order to obtain medicine.
How far ahead to contact us, by region
This is the part that matters most. Go by where you will be when the parcel arrives.

“3 days” and “14 days” mean the time from your first message to the parcel arriving. That covers the questionnaire, the consultation, payment and delivery. Earlier is always easier, particularly around public holidays and the New Year period.
If your route is “Tokyo first, then Hokkaido or Okinawa”, the simplest plan is to receive it or collect it while you are in Tokyo and carry it with you.
How the online consultation works
Everything happens in a WhatsApp or LINE chat. There is no video-call software to install.
- Message us on WhatsApp or LINE and send the word “Mounjaro”. You are welcome to ask questions before you have decided anything. We reply during opening hours, 10am–6pm (closed on Wednesdays).
- Identity check and questionnaire. For medical safety we ask for a photo of your passport and your answers to a medical questionnaire.
- Consultation with the doctor. The doctor’s consultation is carried out by message. Ask about anything that concerns you.
- Online payment. After the consultation we send you a personal payment link. Payment is by credit card.
- Delivery. Once payment is confirmed we dispatch the parcel and send you a photo of it with the tracking number.
On language: you can write to us in English. Japanese is not needed at any step.
Receiving it at a hotel or rental
Hotels
The parcel is left at the front desk. Ask for it when you check in or when you return to the hotel. Please make sure the name on the booking and the name on the parcel match — your name as it appears in your passport is the safest choice.
Rentals (Airbnb and similar)
Someone has to sign for it in person. Check that you will be in during the delivery window. If the property has no reception, tell us when you first message and we will work out the handover with you.
Changing cities mid-trip
Give us a date and the place you will be staying on that date. If you have three nights in Osaka followed by two in Kyoto, choose the stay you are certain of. If your accommodation changes, let us know by WhatsApp or LINE as soon as you can.
What it costs
The medicine costs the same as it does at the clinic, plus a flat JPY 1,000 for delivery anywhere in Japan. The consultation is free.

After it arrives: storage, and taking it home
- Put it in the fridge (2–8°C) as soon as you receive it. A hotel minibar fridge is fine, but keep the pens away from any spot that could freeze.
- Leave the carton and the pharmacy label intact. At customs on the way home, the paperwork and the medicine need to match.
- If you are taking it out of Japan, carry a prescription or a prescription certificate. We can issue one in English; tell us when you first message. The rules differ by destination and are set out in Taking Mounjaro home from Japan.

- I am in Osaka. Can I get Mounjaro?

Yes. You do not need to come to Tokyo. After an online consultation by WhatsApp or LINE, we deliver to your hotel or accommodation in Osaka. Please contact us at least 3 days before the day you want to receive it.
- What about Okinawa or Hokkaido?

Also yes, but delivery takes longer, so please contact us at least 14 days ahead. We suggest messaging us before you leave home. If your trip passes through Tokyo first, receiving it there is simpler.
- Can you ship it to my home country?

No. We deliver only to addresses in Japan. Posting a prescription medicine across a border is an import, and the import rules of the receiving country apply.
- I have not left home yet. Can I contact you now?

Yes — you can message us to ask questions and confirm the process, and we recommend it if you are heading to Okinawa or Hokkaido. The consultation and the delivery are timed around the date you arrive in Japan, and the delivery address must be in Japan.
- Do I need to speak Japanese?

No. You can write to us in English from the first message to the delivery details.
- I will be in Tokyo. Which is better, a visit or delivery?

Either works. If you visit, you take the medicine with you the same day and can ask the doctor questions face to face. The clinic is about a one-minute walk from Ichigaya Station.
In summary
You can receive it anywhere in Japan without coming to Tokyo. Allow 3 days for Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya, Fukuoka and most other cities, and 14 days for Okinawa and Hokkaido. Have a photo of your passport ready, and use your passport name for the parcel.
